McDonalds burgers themselves do not contain gluten, only the bun, you are free to ask for a burger without the bun (they usually put it into a breakfast tray) and you can add the bun yourself, their fries and veggie dippers are also gluten free in the UK. However don't forget there is a risk of cross contamination due to the amount of products being cooked in the back at the same time.

Steak house with gluten free menu and Coeliac UK accredited. They offer an array of different steaks and other mains including a pie all made safe for Coeliacs. Chips are often gluten free but the various branches will tell you if they don't have a gluten free fryer and the menu will be adjusted to show it. They also have gluten free desserts and starters.
