Coeliac Awareness Week Aldi Special Buys 2021

Back to all blogs.

It is Coeliac Awareness Week and Aldi have their usual special buys in, they do have some good offers on a selection of gluten free products so if you want some bargains it may be worth a trip to stock up on Nestle Free From Cereals, Schar Breads and BFree pizza bases and wraps.

Coeliac Awareness Week Aldi Special Buys 2021

It is 10th May that can only mean the start of Coeliac Awareness Week! Disappointingly though this year the majority of the big supermarkets aren't doing anything for Coeliac Awareness Week. Usually there would be at least be some good offers on but there seems to only be Aldi who have their usual gluten free special buys.

We have heard Tesco have a few new products in so if our store has them I will take a look this week!

Back to Aldi, the special buys seem to be the same things they get in every year but disappointingly I didn't spot any gluten free free pasta in this year. I have heard that not all Aldis have been putting the range out, though as far as I am aware is should be in all stores. It was hidden in mine, it wasn't on its usual end of the Special buys aisle it was slap bang in the middle instead.

Nairns Biscuits 99p
Go Free Rice Pops and Cornflakes £1.75
Prewetts Cookies
Kelloggs Fruit Winders £1.49
Lees Snowballs 99p
Gluten Free Hobnobs £1.69
BFree Wraps £2.99
Bfree Pizza Bases £3.25
Betty Crocker Gluten Free Brownie and Cake Mix £2.49
Schar Loaves £1.75
Schar Ciabattas £1.49

They mostly aren't bad offers if they are things you like, the Nairns biscuits tend to be around £1.50 in the bigger supermarkets, similarly with the Schar Ciabattas and Bfree wraps they are about 50p less than the big supermarkets too. However the loaves and hobnobs are the same price as Asda and the Nestle Go Free cereals are actually slightly more expensive. So if you're looking for a bargain, it is a bit hit and miss.

Have you seen any good offers around for Coeliac Awareness week? Let us know! PS We have 20% off in our shop until midnight 16th May 2021 so grab a bargain!

There are two kinds of gluten free Hob Nobs: plain or chocolate on one side. Plain ones are usually £1.69, but the choc ones are usually £2.20 in most of the big supermarkets. Picture is of the chocolate Hob Nob box. You bet I'm on my way to Aldi!! :-)
