Drain canned chickpeas and pour the chickpeas into a food processor.

Add all the other ingredients to the chickpeas. If you want a more traditional hummus which contains tahini, simply add 1tbsp of tahini paste to the rest of the ingredients (be aware that this won't be sesame free though)

Blend for a minute or so until you get a smooth hummus. Serve with fresh fruit for a delicious snack or dessert.
