Sainsburys Free From Christmas Products 2025

It's September which means...Christmas is just around the corner! Or it is if you ask the supermarkets. For my liking it is still three months to early, but here we are!

Sainsburys have already got there free from Christmas products on the shelves! They went out in the last few days of August and I went in to see what gluten free delights they held for us this year.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much different on the free from shelves from last year. Some slots were still empty but from the labels they just appeared to be gluten free mince pies and gluten free Christmas cakes. Still a fairly big range but mostly the things that have become standard. Happy to see those gluten free chocolate enrobed cookies make a reappearance though.

They do have a sign for gluten free stollen slices which I hope are better than Asda's attempt at stollen slices last year - but being named "stollen slices" and not being a proper stollen, I don't hold out much hope of them being anything like a normal stollen. Looks like I will be sticking to making mine!

Some products look to remain the same price as last year such as the single panettone, mini gluten free yule logs and Christmas puddings, but there are some noticeable increases; the gluten free uniced mince pies are up 30p from last year as are the chocolate coated cookies while the Nairns selection box is up £1 and the Nomo Ultimate Advent Calendar up £3 (both a whopping 25% increase on last year!)

As usual, at the moment it is heavy on the sweet side but we have yet to see if there are any gluten free products to go in the fridges or freezer where we may get more savoury offerings.
