Gluten Free Easter Eggs and Sweets 2026 (and Dairy Free Choices too)

Easter isn't long away and the Easter eggs are in the supermarkets already, some have been in since Christmas!

I know you lot love having a gluten free Easter Egg guide so as usual, I have put together a list of ALL the ones I can find that don't have gluten ingredients or may contain warnings.

I have split the list into two sections, firstly the "normal" Easter Eggs you will find all over the place that everyone buys and secondly, below the others, you will find a list of those lurking in the free from section which are generally gluten free and dairy free so great for all those of you who can't have either allergen. Those in the normal aisles are your cheaper eggs as they are mass produced to a higher quantity than specifically free from and also haven't had to pay for gluten free labelling - if a product doesn't have gluten ingredients and no may contain warning then they are usually fine for Coeliacs - by UK laws gluten ingredients cannot be hidden unlike in other countries but remember if they are imports then labelling can be different so always be vigilant! Always double check your labels too, this list is only correct as of 8th Feb 2026, even throughout the weeks ingredients can change, so it is best to check every time you buy something in case anything has changed.

There are lots of popular choices on the list, as usual regular KitKat are not gluten free but the bunnies are, don't mistake those for the Malteasers bunnies whose packet is very similar! Ferrero Rocher are not gluten free but there is an egg this year by them that is gluten free, don't be fooled into thinking it is filled like a Ferrero Rocher though, it isn't, it is just a hollow shell.

Anyway, onto the list. FYI, I haven't included Aldi or Lidl because I forgot to look when I visited Aldi and I haven't been to Lidl!

Asda
Asda have very few Easter Eggs of their own branding on offer and even less that are gluten free.
