Nook Fishery

I was told after ordering I had to buy fish and chips x2 even though I’d rang and asked for 2 GF fish and a bag of chips. Fish and chips were advertised as £8.50 . I politely explained I only wanted 1 bag of chips. No you have to have fish and chips!! Then was told it was £19.00. £8.50 x2 =£19???????? I wasn’t paying for food I’d not ordered. After being told GF tubs of batter powder were very expensive I ended up paying £16 still overpriced. The fish was thin and the batter thick , crispy outer but stodgy inside. Needless to say I certainly will not go back. Hopefully Slawit fish and chips will be open next time. There GF fish are so nice and very worth while a trip to get.
