Be prepared to queue as it's popular and not that big (on two floors) But well worth the visit to this independent pancake house. Pancakes can be provided with a gf base, but not the waffles. Vegan menu too. I opted to choose my own toppings from a list. Great way to avoid things I don't like. Staff were lovely.

Great place to eat in York! We were lucky to sit by the kitchen so when I asked about GF and if crepes were cooked in a different pan the chef came closer to us and explained that they will use a freshly washed pan, etc. We had delicious savoury and sweet crepes, almost everything in the menu can be made GF.

A fantastic find in York and to have such a lovely gluten and dairy free bacon and maple syrup pancake - spoilt for choice!
Highly recommended and will go again the next time we're in York
