When we were looking for somewhere to have our anniversary meal while away after going through so many places we settled on going here and we are glad we did.
The menu contains loads of gluten free options from burgers to grills and also starters and desserts. The menu said chips were gluten free but knowing how so many places tend to list them despite shared fryers this was something I knew I should check.
It was a quiet night in the pub (we did go earlyish) and were given the menu, I chose a bacon cheeseburger and went to the counter to order and asked about chips, the lovely lady serving went and checked with the manager and he confirmed they were cooked separately and they seemed well aware of cross contamination.
Food was cooked fresh so did take a bit longer than some places but it it arrived I can honestly say it was beautiful, one of the best burgers I have had. I did go for dessert as well and there were only a few options, I went for the one that isn't the standard options which was a lemon meringue roulade. This was absolutely gorgeous, it came with a little glass of cream which I thought was a nice touch rather than it already being poured on.
Definitely a place we would go again, options were fairly standard for most pub meals but all the same it was beautiful.

They reassured us our coeliac don would be safe as all kitchen process was done correctly to avoid CC.
My son had the GF cheese burger delivered on a black plate and confirmed as GF followed by icecream and sauce aldi delivered and confirmed as GF.
60 mins later he started vomiting. He had his worst gluten reaction so far, was sick all night so I think not just CC.
Was def not a big as he was fine next morning and able to eat again as normal (other than the usual post gluten stomach cramps)
Was so disappointed and sad for my 8 yr old as they were so friendly and made us feel so confident he’d be ok

My 8 year old daughter was able to come here and order GF chicken nuggets and chips which delighted her. The rest of the family had a fabulous meal here and there are lots of GF choices for children and adults. All food was quick and outstanding quality and the service was excellent. We are visitor to the island and we recieved a warm welcome.
