Absolutely lovely little cafe, not got a great lot of seating and very popular. It seems a lot of gluten free people head there two as I heard 3 others order gluten free while I was there. I asked about gluten free when we arrived and was told it was marked on the menu. Majority of the menu could be done gluten free. I asked if they had any cheese scones, something I have never had in a cafe before only made myself as you never seen to see them. I was told they did have them as well as normal (menu stated they are subject to availability). When I ordered the lovely chap said the pickle contained gluten so would I like the sweet chilli jam instead, I was going to ask for that anyway out of preference but nice to know they are on the ball with what contains gluten. The cheese scone was absolutely divine and looking round all the lunches looked lovely, I saw a few people have gluten free ploughmans and they looked delicious! Definitely a place we would go back to for lunch, Cockington is such a pretty little village too so nice to know there is somewhere to eat within the village.
