Gluten Free Virgin Alcohol Free Irish Cream/Baileys

While Baileys is gluten free anyway (yes, it is) they don't do an alcohol free one, so here is a super easy recipe for a alcohol free Irish Cream which is delicious served over ice like normal Baileys. This recipe is naturally gluten free and alcohol free but can also be dairy free and vegan by switching to a dairy free milk, I would recommend almond milk. Why not give it a try this Christmas!

Ingredients

500ml milk (whole milk is best but works with any you like, for dairy free I'd recommend almond milk)
1tbsp maple syrup
1.5tsp vanilla extract
4tbsp single cream
1/4tsp instant coffee
1/2tsp cocoa powder
10ml hot water
  • Preparation Time: 10 Mins
  • Cooking Time: 1 Hour
  • This recipe makes 4 servings

Method

1. Place the milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract and single cream into a bottle (an old milk bottle or similar works best) and set aside.

2. Mix the coffee and cocoa powder with 10 ml hot water, let cool slightly and then add to the bottle.

3. Shake for a good few mins to combine well and chill until super cold (a minimum of an hour but as long as possible is best). Serve over ice!

You will need to shake between serving as it will settle in the fridge so shake it well before every use.
