I absolutely loved my trip to Longleat, I expected to have trouble getting food but as we stayed in a hotel I couldn't just take sandwiches so knew I was going to have to wing it.
Looking online I planned on trying the Dirty Fries stall as it is 90% gluten free but Mum didn't like any of the toppings so we went in the Chameleon Cafe instead. Not a lot of options but the board states what is gluten free and it labelled sausages, chips, gravy, beans.
This cafe is buffet style but served by a person behind the counter, I asked if the chips were cooked separate, she wasn't sure but went and got the manager who was so bright, bubbly and helpful, she confirmed they cook them separate and the sausages are cooked on their own too. While it was buffet style each item had its own serving utensils so I felt safe to eat there and chose sausage, chips and beans, mum had the same but with gravy. And I must say it was delicious, they were generous portions too, 3 sausages!! For an attraction it wasn't badly priced either so worth going rather than taking sandwiches.
There are also other options round the park, pretty much every restaurant does pre-packed gluten free cakes, magnums and other ice creams in the freezers, one of the coffee shops could do gluten free sandwiches and the fudge shop had lots of gluten free choices. No need to miss out on anything.
I believe the Orangey in Longleat House also does gluten free but not sure what.
In my opinion for an attraction you can't get much better, price is decent, food nice and saves taking your own.
