Brightside Roadside Diner

Stopped at the diner in the early stages of a long journey one evening recently. Had already checked them out online so knew there would be something for me to eat. Pleasantly surprised to be given my own GF menu by a very knowledgeable member of staff which was almost the same as the muggle version, lots of choice. They also checked to see if we were in a hurry so they could speed up service for us if needed.. Plumped for a chicken burger which came with a red flag and on a red plate - not sure if the plate was just coincidence but it seemed a good idea. It was very tasty and I would even go as far as saying my burger bun was nicer than my husband's who had the Non-GF version. Nothing to do with GF but wanted to comment that the toilets were spotless and avocado in colour (the whole place seems to have a 70s vibe!). There was also a trolley full of various sanitary products for ladies to help themselves to if caught out, a nice touch I thought. Don't visit services much but would have no hesitation on returning to Brightside.
