I ate here at the end of March 2023, and was very happy with the experience. The fish and chips, plus mushy peas, was great, nice crispy batter on the fish, excellent chips and mushy peas. This was all also dairy-free.
Service was great, quick to take orders and bring food. The restaurant looks newly done out, nice booths, and toilets available. Food is available to eat in or takeaway.
Also this place is dog-friendly, so if you're gluten-free, dairy-free and have a furry friend with you it's perfect!

After deciding to treat myself to gf fish and chips and a glass of wine, my meal did not arrive! I understand that they appeared to be busy, but after watching people come in after me get their drinks and then their meal, I started to get concerned. Whilst I appreciate that preparing said meal might take a little longer, 35 minutes later and still no meal or even said glass of wine, i enquired what had happened, to be told that the waitress had not put my order through. This was an upsetting experience, especially as all waitresses had to pass my table and could see I was waiting. I was eventually offered a complimentary meal, but was told I would have to wait. I declined as I had somewhere else to be. Please train your waitresses not to ignore people or to fail to place the order. Sadly I will not be visiting again.
