Absolutely love Magpies fish and chips, order at the takeaway and they call up to the restaurant where the separate fryer is. It is just a shame they only do fish and chips gluten free and no other option. We had take out and ate in the dark when the Christmas lights were being turned on so was really quiet.

OMG the best fish and chips ever. I have eaten here many times before but this was my first time eating here GF. It didn’t dissapoint. Service was great. The fish and chips were amazing. Eating fish and chips anywhere else is just a let down. I followed it with a GF brownie and whipped cream. It just melted in my mouth. Superb. Whenever we go to Whitby this is where we will be eating.

A very popular restaurant where just getting in can involve queuing. Fish & chips at their best. Eating gluten free here was for me problem free.

Great homely British pub food for reasonable price. Gluten free dishes not clearly listed on menu but very helpful staff and food clearly labeled with flags when brought out.
