Very well keyed up on Coeliac Disease.I felt very comfortable and confident eating there.Wide options of gluten free.Fish &Chips Pizzas,Burgers,Pasta, and more.Seperate fryer and all cooked to order. So you may have a little extra wait, but well worth it.

I have Coeliac disease and have regularly eaten at Remos because they advertise gluten-free options on their menu and have separate fryers etc. Today we visited for a family meal. I ordered my usual gluten-free pizza and garlic bread without issue. For dessert, I specifically asked whether the ice creams were gluten free. The waitress checked and told me that all flavours without biscuit were gluten free. I ordered two scoops of strawberry in a tub. Halfway through eating, I realised the “tub” was actually an edible wafer cone tub. I immediately stopped eating and my mum asked the waitress whether the tub was gluten free. The manager then intervened and confirmed it was not gluten free, saying it was an accident and apologising. Although they were apologetic, I genuinely don’t believe they understood the seriousness or importance of the situation. With allergies, especially Coeliac disease, accidents cannot happen. This isn’t a preference — it’s a medical condition with potentially severe consequences. I am now extremely anxious about how my body will react, and unfortunately I will not be returning. We were told the waitress was new and had not yet received allergy training, and that she would complete it before her next shift. However, staff should not be serving food — particularly when discussing allergens — without proper training in place. I’m sharing my experience in the hope that changes are made so this does not happen to anyone else.
