Carnero Lounge - The Lounges

I have been to Carnero Lounge several times over the past few months and never had an issue. They offer a great range of gluten free foods and my order is only ever taken by a duty manager, and given to me by the same manager. All food comes with flags and separate from any others dining at the same time and I’ve have always felt understood when voicing concerns. The breads/burger buns etc are all very different to the normal gluten containing ones. The burgers are delicious, the tapas options are great and they are my usual go to.

Be very careful eating here. The menu offers a great gluten free selection and at first the staff seemed knowledgeable. The food came out with one of those little gluten free flags in it with some bread that looked suspiciously like everyone else’s. When querying it I was told no it was definitely gluten free. It was delicious and I commented again to our server could I know what brand it was or was it home made as it was so nice. They came back as you guessed they had served me gluten. I was so angry - they didn’t seem to understand (as I had no immediate reaction) how ill this was going to make me. I wrote an email to them but had no response.
