I little pricier than some places but for the scones they are well worth it. I still haven't found anywhere that beats the scones from here, even pre coeliac the gluten scones were the best and when I became coeliac I was super happy they did gluten free and were just as good. In the space of a week we visited 3 times. Each time a scone was involved, sometimes a sandwich too. They have a lovey gluten free menu and staff are always fabulous. You can also buy the scones to take home (as we did!) and they come in little vacuum sealed bags, plus you can have the jam and cream or butter to buy with them. Sandwiches come on Schar ciabatta rolls, the bacon, cranberry and brie sandwiches are gorgeous! They do have some hot options as well but we only visited at lunch times/mid afternoon but you can get a warm meal too and there is usually a few other cake options too, but they never got a look in with the scones! Been visiting for over 15 years and will continue to do so.

I love the Lobster Pot, I remember 8 years ago when I was first diagnosed it was one of the first places I ate at. I'd been visiting many years previous and had normal scones and wasn't optimistic they would do gluten free and I was so excited when I found out they did. 8 years on they still do gluten free scones and they are still the best scones anywhere, ever. The gluten free scones are cooked as a traybake on site and they are gorgeous! The staff are aware of cross contamination and are really good. They do do other options but I just can't resist their cream teas so that will always be my choice. On this particular visit I was so hungry I did order sandwiches too, it was a long try and I was starving when we got there. I went for bacon and brie sandwiches which came on Schar ciabattas, it was nice but expected a little better when it comes to here, but there are only so many gluten free breads about I suppose. I did follow up with a cream tea which as always was amazing, I wanted another one. They do sell their scones to take out (not a good idea, I'd eat them before I got to the car!) Lovely place, 100% recommend the cream tea over anything else!

I went here to try the scones and it was definitely worth it! They were honestly so good, best I've had since being gluten free. I had it as part of the cream tea offering, so a scone and tea, and weirdly it was 20p cheaper than my bfs one (he had it with a normal scone) which was unexpected!! They have other gluten free food too, I only had chips (wanted to save room for the scone!) but was told they were cooked in a separate fryer so that was good, and they were honestly the best chips I've had in ages. I'll go back at some point to have a proper meal. Its a lovely place with great food, great scenery (looking out at the sea) and amazing knowledgeable staff.
