The Old Schoolhouse Tea Room

Lovely little tearoom in the centre of Abbotsbury. It was very quiet on the day we went after visiting Abbotsbury Swannery, on first glace at the menu you wouldn't know they offered gluten free as it's not marked or mentions gluten free in any form but haven't visited many years ago, unless it had changed I knew they did offer it, so we went in and asked. The guy who served us told me that all the menu was available gluten free except one thing which I can't remember what it was. Otherwise all the sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salads could be made gluten free if they weren't already. They also have gluten free scones and cakes wrapped on the side. I chose to have a scone which I think had been kept frozen and was warmed up but it was lovely none the less. The staff seemed clued up and knowledgeable and the food we had was lovely. Definitely a place to keep in mind.
