I had the steak and battered onion rings. My meal was great and looked at with envy by the gluten eaters at the table. I heard the chef is coeliac so felt much safer. It is like the staff just understand and nothing is too much trouble.

We ate here as it is just off the A1 and we were travelling. Staff were exemplary. They understood about cross-contamination as one of the managers is coeliac as are a few members of staff. The food was very tasty, plenty of it with a good salad. No bad consequences for our GF/DF son. Plan to stop off there when we are next passing. Best GF/DF meal out my son has had for a long time.
