Full Description

Travelling with coeliac disease is much easier when you can clearly explain your dietary requirements. While translation apps and AI can be useful, they aren't always accurate when translating complex medical dietary needs, and they rely on having battery life and internet access whenever you're ordering food.

This Afrikaans and Zulu Coeliac Gluten Free Travel Translation Card provides a simple and reliable way to communicate your gluten free requirements while travelling in South Africa. Credit card sized and professionally laminated, it's easy to keep in your purse, wallet or passport holder, so it's always available whether you're eating in restaurants, staying in hotels or buying food from cafés and local markets.

The translations have been produced by native speakers to clearly explain coeliac disease, the need to follow a strict gluten free diet and the importance of avoiding cross contamination. Simply show the card to restaurant staff, chefs, hotel staff or food vendors to help them understand your dietary requirements and reduce the risk of misunderstandings.

Perfect for holidays, safaris, business trips and road trips across South Africa, this gluten free travel card includes both Afrikaans and Zulu translations to help you dine with greater confidence. Whether you're visiting Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria, Gqeberha or the Kruger National Park, you'll have a simple way to communicate your dietary needs throughout your travels.

I have Coeliac Disease and follow a strict gluten free diet. I cannot eat any foods which contain gluten, small amounts can make me sick.

I can not eat Wheat, durum, semolina, couscous, bulgur, rye, barley, oats

I can eat Fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, rice, potatoes, corn, egg, cheese, milk, beans and nuts

Cross contamination is also an issue, please prepare gluten free separate. Cooking my food in fryers also used for gluten containing products, sharing toasters and preparing food on contaminated surfaces can all make me very sick.
