1tsp crushed garlic
1/2tsp crushed ginger
200g cherry tomatoes
400g lamb steaks
1tbsp tandoori curry powder
1/2tbsp coriander leaf

1. Thoroughly wash the red lentils in cold water and sift through to remove any stray stalks. Without paying over the odds there are no red lentils that don't carry may contain warnings however as long as they are washed thoroughly, Coeliac UK deem them safe for Coeliacs. Once washed set aside.
2. Peel and chop the onion and carrot, dice the red pepper and place in the slow cooker along with the garlic, ginger and whole cherry tomatoes.
3. Chop the lamb steaks into bitesize chunks and add to the slow cooker along with the red lentils set aside earlier.
4. Add the curry powder, coriander leaf and stock to the cooker and give it a good mix. Cook on high for 4 hours.
