Back to all recipes.
If you love Haribo you will love these, so simple to make, all you need is so flavoured jelly and extra gelatine, get little moulds and you can have so many different sweets, if you can get a bear one you can even make little gummy bears. Most Haribo are gluten free, depending on the jelly use use these home made ones are just lower in sugar.

Gluten Free Jelly Sweets

Ingredients

1 sachet any flavour sugar free jelly crystals
1 sachet powdered gelatine

Method

  1. Make up jelly with half a pint of boiling water.

  2. Add the sachet of gelatine, stir until dissolved.

  3. Pour a thin layer into the bottom of ice cube moulds or shaped moulds (we used little gummy bear ones we found on Amazon) which are easy to buy make fun sweets for kids. One batch of the jelly mix usually fills about 1 and a half trays

  4. Place in the fridge until set, doesn't take too long, about 20 mins will do, but the longer you leave the easier to get out of the moulds I find. Even better way is if you freeze for 10 minutes, this can sometimes make them easier to get out the moulds.
