Gluten Free Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients

3tbsp gluten free self raising flour
1tbsp cocoa powder
1.5tbsp sugar
1 large egg
0.5tbsp oil
few drops of peppermint essence, orange flavouring or other flavouring (optional)

Method

  1. Mix together flour, cocoa and sugar in a large mug.

  2. Beat in the egg and oil until you get a glossy, smooth mix. Add in a few drops of any flavourings if you wish to make something a little different from a plain chocolate cake, peppermint or orange flavourings both work well.

  3. Stir in the chocolate chips and then place in the microwave for 1 and half minutes until cooked (the top will be sold with no liquid bits)

  4. Top with some optional extras if you wish, grated chocolate, chocolate sauce etc

Massive mug overflow! Next time I'll make the mix in a bowl and split between 2 mugs.
