Coffee and walnut cake is one of those popular classic, traditionally it is done as a sandwich cake though, in this one though I have done it as a loaf cake. It is gluten free and dairy free and goes great with a nice hot brew! I added some wonderful coffee icing to give it that extra caffeine hit.

You really can't beat some fish for breakfast and for me that fish has to be kippers, proper fresh kippers. Kippers pair up beautifully with spinach and eggs, all high in protein to give a proper boost to your morning. It is of course naturally gluten free and makes a delicious change to a fry up or cereal

Great alternative to an omelette or a pancake, they are a kind of a cross between the two. Using just eggs, carrot, spinach and a few spices, these naturally gluten free fritters are so good with cheese melted in the middle! You can also eat them on their own but the melted cheese just adds another dimension.

Chocolate cookies are every kids favourite, these cute cookies are super easy to make and would be so good to make with the kids. They are soft and crumbly (when aren't gluten free biscuits soft and crumbly?) and have a fabulously cracked effect by using icing sugar. Simply decorated and very chocolatey.

I'm sure most people like jam but if you don't or some some reason you can't have jam like a member of my family, our gluten free bakewell tray bake is made jamless. All the delicious flavours of a bakewell tart packed into a simple school style tray bake. It would also work well as a loaf cake too!

Whether you don't like gluten free pizza bases or if you just want something healthier, topping a chicken like a pizza is amazing. Much less calories than a normal pizza and a lot more nutritional benefit, apart from having chicken as a base you can make this exactly like any pizza with any toppings you like.
