Cheats iced buns have to the the best thing ever. No need to make brioche rolls, just use Schar ones, fill with jam, cream or both and top with sticky icing and you have the best quick sweet treat. They are great to give the kids when they are whining or if you want something quick to make.

1. Mix icing sugar with enough water to make a thick icing, this won't require much, just keep adding a few drops at a time until it's a nice thick consistency that isn't too thin. If you do end up with it too thin, add in a little more icing sugar.
2. Spread the icing over the top of the brioche rolls.
3. You can skip the cream if you like and just eat them iced, however if you want to add something extra for a great treat once the icing has set a little, cut the brioche rolls length ways but not quite all the way through.
4. Whisk the double cream until thick and spread a spoonful down the centre of each bun. To add even more calories too it feel free to top with some chocolate flakes or some strawberry sauce!
